Motorcycle Driving Course A1

Theory

In addition to the necessary knowledge for all licence categories You will also be familiar with the specific requirements for the category you have chosen.
The eas theory module included in the course will prepare you for your motorcycle driving licence the test of theory. This is a vital part of your training, and will assist you in passing the test. The theory test is a written examination comprised of 40 questions as well as two hazard perception clips. You must be able to answer at least 28 of the 40 questions correctly in order to pass the test.

Practical
Motorcycle driving courses also include practical classes. These are the most important elements of your learning process and can be spread out over several weeks or months, based on your needs. This part of the course will require a motorcycle. It is essential to pick one that is easy to handle, not too fast or heavy. A good place to begin is with the 50cc motorbike or scooter.
Once you've completed your theoretical training, it's time to take the practical test. The practical test is divided into Module 1 and Module 2 The first section of Module 1 is a 40 minute road ride. The second part is an individual riding section lasting 10 minutes. You will have to complete both sections to obtain your licence.

If you want to move up to a different category of vehicle, you'll need to do Module 5. This is the progression portion of the course which allows you to change your license without needing to go through the entire IBT program all over again. It is crucial to take this course on the type of motorcycle you intend to use, and the course must be approved by your instructor.

The Assessment

Licensing

The course is broken down into three modules of 4 hours each. It takes 12 hours. You must complete each module before you are able to take the driving test for your category A1 license. You must be over 18 years old age to pass this course.
You must attain a minimum score of 25 points to pass the test in theory. You must answer all ten questions correctly to pass the test and there are no re-takes. The test lasts 45 minutes and can be taken at any TUV or Dekra branch of your choosing.
The practical course lasts 12 hours, and is divided into three modules of four hours each. You must be at least 18 years old to take the practical course, and also be able to operate any motorbike from 50cc to a 35kW motorbike. You must also be competent to control and manage the vehicle in different situations, such as overtaking and turning left or right, and changing lanes.
After you have completed your theoretical and practical lessons, you are ready to take your driving test to obtain the category A1 license. This test involves a series riding techniques on a motorcycle that your instructor will provide. You must also be able to demonstrate your ability to control the motorcycle in different situations and under all weather conditions.
To pass the test, you must have completed at a minimum five hours of instruction on Federal or Country Roads, and four additional hours during the daytime or dawn. You also must complete a prescribed number of special rides. The instructor will let you know when you are ready to take the test and will provide valuable tips to passing it.
